Emotional Connection in the Era of COVID-19
Miriam O. Ezenwa, PhD, RN, FAAN
Greetings, my people! Happy New Month. I hope you are safe and well. The COVID-19 era has ushered many phrases to our daily vocabulary including social distancing and stir crazy.
As we distance ourselves physically from others, let’s strive to connect with them emotionally in meaningful ways. During our walks in our neighborhoods, we can wave and share warm smiles while maintaining six feet distance from passersby. We can reach out to others by phone, email, and text messages. We can be kind and gentle with others and ourselves. I hope that we can come out the other side better and stronger.
I wish you strength, always!
Please stay tuned …
